Traditional Medicine

“Treating a disease after it has arisen is like starting to dig a well when already thirsty.”  – Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic

How Traditional Medicine Can Help You

Simple lifestyle changes can have a significant impact on your health. Medicine will always be necessary, but it should be your last line of defence, not your first.

Sovereignty over your own health can be achieved if you implement a healthy lifestyle philosophy, one that promotes life-nurturing practices, like healthy dietary habits, balanced cycles of activity and rest, and an adaptable mindset. With complicated issues that do not respond to this, more specific therapeutic interventions are the next logical step.

Treatment plans will be established and implemented at the discretion of the therapist. Modalities utilized can include lifestyle philosophy education, TCM acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, TuiNa medical massage, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, topical oils, plasters, liniments, and corrective exercises.
